2026 Emerging DJ Contest
Attention, selectors of tasty rhythms! If your colleagues recognize your talent and your mixes make even your grandmother dance, this is your chance to shine in the second TROPICALIA NOVICE DJ COMPETITION.
PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
Participation is open to anyone over the age of 18. The selected participants, 2 for each stage, must travel on their own to the island of Tenerife, specifically to Calle de Duggi in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, for the final of the competition.
COMPETITION MECHANICS
Participants must submit an exclusive 15/20 minute set with a selection of genres related to Tropicalia. To do this, we will divide the styles into two groups according to the scenario:
DEADLINES
Registration opens: March 19.
Registration closes: Wednesday, April 8.
Publication of finalists: The Tropicalia jury, made up of four members from the world of entertainment and electronic music, will select three finalists per stage (six in total). Those selected will receive an email inviting them to an in-person workshop on April 16th at BE DJ School. An email will be sent to all participants thanking them for their enthusiasm and will be taken into account for future competitions for novice DJs.
