GROOVED
Club Stage
Grooved is a pure love for music in all its forms. Since he was a teenager, he began tinkering with mixes on his high school radio, and ever since, he hasn't stopped searching, searching, and connecting sounds. His musical journey began in territories such as R&B, hip hop, soul, and jazz, eventually leading, over time and with much listening, to the richest and most diverse electronic music. It was in Manchester where this evolution took shape, immersing himself in the sound of the city and shaping his style: a versatile house inspired by disco, funk, acid, breakbeat, and minimalism, ranging from dark and hypnotic atmospheres to vibrant grooves that energize the body and soul. On May 24th, we'll see him at Tropicalia, pure soul and swing on the CLUB STAGE.

CANNIBAL
Carnival Stage
DJ Cannibal embodies the savory, streetwise sound of Tropicalia. A native of Gran Canaria, he's been spinning the decks for over 15 years since launching his musical career in 2007. His essence is born from encounters: playing with bands, recording, rehearsing, and sharing music have always been his creative drivers. But if there's one thing that defines him, it's the art of scratching, that raw and precise technique that turns vinyl into a living instrument, generating effects and melodies that transport us to imaginary jungles, full of rhythm and mystery. His is a driving rhythm, a blend of island roots and tropical flavor that turns any set into a sonic ritual where the body moves on its own. Get your outfit ready, because with Cannibal, the vinyl is a machete and the dance floor, pure dancing.

Kubacanashe is the result of a delicious fusion: the island of Cuba, the Canary Islands, and Ashé, that ancestral energy that balances everything. The duo is made up of DJ Javier Freniche, born in Gran Canaria, and the talented Cuban Lázaro Sandoval, a multi-instrumentalist who masters the saxophone, flute, percussion, and vocals. Together they create a sonic journey that masterfully blends genres such as chill out, jazz, disco, Afrobeat, salsa, house, and techno. Since meeting in 2016 at a magical event at Barco Timanfaya, they have not stopped playing, mixing, and evolving. With a luxurious career behind them, from the conservatory in Cuba to stages in Sweden, Galicia, and all over the Canary Islands, Lázaro has shared the bill with legends and renowned bands, while Javier has made half the archipelago dance by DJing in hotels, festivals, and a wide variety of events. Together they form an unstoppable combo, with a live performance full of soul, groove, and tropical flavor, perfect for springtime.

They met while giving their all on the dance floor and now make others give their all too. Their connection is pure La Palma joy: what the party brought together, it doesn't separate or wash away. Their sets feature tropical gems, danceable rarities, and rhythms ranging from Latin to boogaloo, from funk to disco, with Brazilian touches and warrior drums that invoke a collective shake. When the drum roll is double, it sounds better, and when these two come together, the heat rises and everything blooms.
